Cypress Pines at Dusk
This piece was inspired by walks with my dog in the coastal forests. I love the way the trees bend with the flow of the ocean winds, revealing distant landscapes between the trunks.
I'm not sure I could have pulled this painting off in oil paint! Trying to figure out how to prune back the branches and let the distant scene through was laborious even in Photoshop! There is so much potential in digital media!
